Tribute to the JSA (Smallville - Absolute Justice)

The double-length "Absolute Justice" episode from Season 9 of Smallville was the best thing on TV last year. It featured all the original members of the Justice Society of America - the original Golden Age superheroes. Furthermore, the episode was written by Geoff Johns himself. Watch the clip above and relive the glory days of the Golden Age. The clip reminds me somewhat of the flashback scenes from the opening of "Watchmen". A kind of eulogy to times past.
